We first met with Kate over two years ago when we started tossing around the idea of moving. We looked at a few houses and decided to hold off. In early September 2020 we got in touch with Kate and set up an appointment. She was just as pleasant as the first time around and came with comps and a whole marketing plan to sell our home of 32 years. We decided to use Douglas Elliman and Kate for the purchase of a new home as well. We listed our home on a Wednesday and by Sunday had 10 offers over selling price! Selling and purchasing at the same time is extremely stressful. We had some glitches along with way with our purchase and Kate was there to calm us (me!) down, mediate and get us through it all! We cannot say enough about Kate. I wish there was an option to give her 10 stars! As first time homebuyers my husband and I were not comfortable or familiar with the purchase of real estate. Kate was not only a wealth of information but also walked us through the entire process from looking at our first house to closing on our new home.
